• I am an idiot. I know just enough to be dangerous, and now I’m really stuck.

I installed and activated the WordPress HTTPS plugin and (like an idiot) clicked stuff without understanding the instructions. I locked myself out of my admin page.

But wait, it gets better. Instead of calmly looking for a solution, I freaked and deleted the plugin using my host’s file manager. Brilliant!

Now I have the instructions that would have made it all better, but they don’t work. I put the plugin folder back, but I can’t activate it because I can’t access my admin page.

I am in desperate need of help. Please have mercy on me.

I got it!! Miracle of miracles.

I changed the name of the plugin folder by adding “-1”, then cleared the cache and closed out the browser.

Restarted Internet Explorer and typed in the address to the admin login and presto!

    So…nevermind, but thank you.
