    Hello all,

Mvied here, developer of WordPress HTTPS. I’ve been in the midst of setting up my own business, so I’ve been way too busy to update the plugin, or answer support questions. I have version 1.9 in the works, with quite a few bugs fixed. My primary problem is that I don’t have a Shared SSL to test out the Shared SSL features, hence why it’s buggy and doesn’t work correctly.

Most of the issues people have using Shared SSL are caused by PHP. Some Shared SSL certificates use proxying, and when PHP checks to see if SSL is being used, the port is returned as 80 and HTTPS is not detected, causing 404 errors and redirect loops. I’ve got a good theory on how to correct this in the next version, but I need somewhere to test it out.

Just wanted to let everyone know what’s going on. I hope I can find someone out there that can provide me with some server space to play with a Shared SSL certificate so that I can push out the next version. I also may switch to a form of premium support because I can no longer offer free support due to my new responsibilities.

To Kitchin: Thank you for stepping in and helping with support.

If anyone can help, let me know.

    Thanks,
    Mike
