]]>Understand that 15 years ago, PHP frameworks mostly didn’t exist. Rewriting WordPress to use such a framework now would not be conducive to backwards compatibility, which is one of WordPress’ core tenets.
If you prefer to use such a framework to create some piece code, then by all means use it. We love other open source projects. Try Drupal, it has much more of a framework-like nature to it, and good support and a wide userbase as well.
