I’m having some issues with my admin panel where it seems some Javascript isn’t running properly.

I used a plugin called “Health Check & Troubleshooting” and proceeded to disable every plugin. Turns out the culprit is “WordPress Importing Tool”. When enabling it, I can’t do actions that require Javascript (from what I understand). I can’t drag and drop images or see my posts description.

“WordPress Importing Tool” Version 0.4 | By www.ads-software.com

The issue is I don’t see this plugin in my Plugin page, hosting file manager, or even a mention of it on google.

    Before posting here I tried:
    – Re-installing WordPress
    – Downgrading WordPress
    – Clearing Cache

Any way of disabling/removing it? Thank you so much.

@clark819 You’ll want to go look in the files directly, on the server. You can ask your host for help, but if you’re not seeing it on the file manager, it may be in the MU folder, or a single file somehwere. But…

That is a hacker backdoor file: https://github.com/mangaMag/Wordpress-Backdoor-Plugin/blob/master/wp-sph/wp-sph.php

Ask your host if they do hacked site scans, they should be able to help.

Wow, I was not expecting this.

I did find the “wp-sph.php” folder. I removed it and it did solve the issue.

Now, I read your link and double checked if I didn’t have any extra Admin accounts.
I’m not even sure I would see them.

Either way, I deleted the plugin and will contact my host to see if they can do anything else to help.

    Thank you for your help,
    Clark
