WordPress in asp.net

    I have a website which is built with asp.net 3.5. I need to incorporate WordPress into my website. Is it possible to use WordPress with asp.net 3.5? If “Yes”, then how?

    Please help me.

  • How do you want to use WP with ASP.NET? WP is written in PHP and ASP is ASP so there is no good relationship between the two.

    Prasanta, WordPress is written in PHP and your website in ASP.net, they’re use different operating systems (it’s like trying to run Mac software on Windows) but, you can do it.

    If your host has PHP installed on your .net server, then you can install WordPress and it’ll run fine.

    Thanks for reply. Yes my website host is installed with PHP. Now I want to know that what is procedure to add “WordPress” blog into my website.

    Can you please give me any example or reference link?

    Prasanta, upload WordPress in sub-directory under your main website, e.g. yourdomain.com/blog then install your WordPress blog by visiting the address yourdomain.com/blog.
