WordPress in its own directory loses edit-links and adminbar

When having WordPress in separate direcory (like this https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory ), for example WP files in domain.com/wordpress/, but keeping site directory root domain.com, then edit links and adminbar are not displayed.

I found similar problem here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/edit_post_link-outside-wp-directory-whats-missing, that was 5 years ago, and there was cleared that it is by-effect. Is the situation changed? Is there a quick proper fix?
