    The generator is creating an error, according to Google, causing the sitemap submission to constantly fail. The error, according to Google, lies in this set:

    <url>
    <loc>/wordpress/</loc>
    <lastmod>2006-04-13T13:22:53+00:00</lastmod>
    <changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
    <priority>0.6</priority>
    </url>

    I have the Sitemap Generator (3.0b1) installed and running on two sites, and this only happens on one of them. Both sites have WP installed in the /root/wordpress but pointing to the /root/ instead. Because they are set up identically I don’t seem to know why it is being output on one and not the other. I also can’t seem to find any option that I could change in the Sitemap that would include/exclude the /wordpress/ entry. Any help would be great. Thank you. Full sitemap can be found at https://theskylight.org/sitemap.xml

    Arne, I turned on Debug Comments. I have the following plugins activated:
    BDP Referal Tracker
    Exec-PHP
    Feedburner Feed Replacement
    Optimal Title
    Spam Karma 2
    Static Front Page
    Google Sitemaps
    Scripturizer Remix
    Search Pages
    Text Control
    WP-License
    Wordpress Database Backup

    Thank you for any help you can provide.

    Hi,

    looks like its the Static Front Page causing this error. Please try the latest version of this plugin (v.2.3 – Apr 22nd, 2006). If that doesn’t help, have a look at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/67978?replies=11

    Where did you find the latest version of Static Front Page? The website home of the plugin says the latest update was in January.

    Hi,

    unfortunately the plugin page wasn’t updated but the front page. Just download the archive and have a look at the readme.txt, there is already an updated version again (v.2.4 – Apr 23rd, 2006).

    Best regards,

    Arne
