    Hi there,

The link you’ve included provides a pretty comprehensive analysis and overview of the problem.
In summary, it does not affect backups but may cause issues with downloads via the dashboard.
It would be better for you to follow the steps described to identify the issue cause and resolve it.

    Best regards,

    Nick

I’m having the same issue. I followed the steps from the link provided and I still get the same message. There has to be another way to help users with this issue.

    Hi Caleb,

Please understand, it is not UpdraftPlus which is causing the issue. Our plugin is just warning you.
The issue could be caused by a range of factors related to other plugins which we don’t support.

As the linked page explains, the issue could also possibly be related to WordPress modifications.
Again, it’s not our remit to provide support for WordPress. We provide support for UpdraftPlus.

    Best regards,

    Nick

    Hi @nrobertsudp ,

Thanks for the reply. You’re absolutely correct, it was an issue with another plugin. UpdraftPlus is a great product. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Caleb,

Thanks, and for your understanding too. We really want to help, it’s just we’re limited to UpdraftPlus.
Well done with the issue. A plugin test (disable and activate one by one) would be my approach too.

    Best regards,

    Nick
