WordPress is going into a closed loop

  • When I go to Themes>>Customize>>Layout and then I press “Save & Publish” it takes me to a dialog box that tells me to login because I have timed out.
    I login, it seems to accept my user-id/password, hesitates a few seconds and goes back to login because I timed out and on, and on….
    Need help to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for your advice.

  • Using ftp try and replace all files and folders except wp-content folder and wp-config.php file
