WordPress is not generating thumbnails for JPG images

  • Hello,

    A customer’s site is not generating thumbnails for JPG images. Images in PNG are generated thumbnails normally.

    This problem started 4 days ago after the client deleted the Jetpack plugin from the dashboard (but I believe the problem is not because of this). Besides not generating, all the thumbnails of the JPG images that had been generated before the problem disappeared, only the PNG ones remained.

    Could anyone help?
