WordPress is slowing down my site!

  • For some reason WordPress is hitting my site like crazy and it has really slowed down the loading speed. What is going on?!?

    How do i fix this?

    Effective Aug 7 – my site load time is now 20seconds+ for the home page (which has 1 photo and 2 text blog posts – nothing running in sidebars, etc (just text).

    RIDICULOUS and unserviceable. =(
