    Hi.
I’m also experiencing slowness with Yoast SEO on 2 websites with WordPress and WooCommerce fully up to date. When the plug-in is activated, the “Products” page of WooCommerce takes 30 seconds for one website (66 products) and 1 mn 30 for the other website (103 products) to display. I haven’t found yet a setting in the plug-in when activated to solve the issue. When the plug-in is desactivated, those pages are displayed within 10 seconds.
    Best regards.
    Franck

Same here. If I open the list of all pages in the WP back end, it takes about 4 s now to load. Disabling Yeas SEO plugin, it loads in about 0.5 s.

I did some PHP profiling: Seems that getting options get_all() in class-wpseo-options.php will be called many times during page load.

Thank you for your feedback. It’s a big problem becauase Google’s algorithm don’t “love” slow site.

There was a reported issue regarding delayed loading times with the recent version of Yoast SEO, and this should be addressed with the Yoast SEO v7.1 release. When the update is released, could you please try updating to the latest version and see if this resolves the issue.

I’ve just tested the 7.1 version. The CPU usage is resolved (same with and without plugin), but the loading time of full product list page is still worse than without plugin. It has improved in comparison to the 7.0.3, but it is still almost twice as bad in comparison to performance without the plugin.

Without it the loading time of my products is 10.5 sec on average (5 attempts, all 10-11 sec). 157 products, almost all variable – not sure is the latter matters.

With the previous version of the plugin it was totally horrible, 48 sec on average.

With the 7.1 it is now 18.4 (5 attempts, from 17 to 20 sec).

Hi. Same thing here. It’s better but not as good as before. 18 seconds to display almost 100 products. That is far too slow for our employees. Best regards.

There is a new issue that has been opened related to the increased CPU usage in relation to Yoast SEO and WooCommerce here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/9170

If you are continuing to experience this issue we would recommend reporting it there so that our developers can continue to work to resolve this.

    Hello, Team YOAST
I have the free version of Yoast. Since two days ago my website has become very slow. I have version 7.2 I have not yet updated version 7.4.2 The slowdown problem is due to the recent YOAST updates?
    Thanks

    C.

    Hi.
    You’re right.
Something broke with the last updates of Yoast and WooCommerce.
On my pro website, I desactivate Yoast when I know that someone is going to work with the WooCommerce products (just 100) before thunder falls. Too bad.
