WordPress JavaScript on Local XAMPP Server?

  • I’m fiddling around with my WordPress installation and I just noticed that JavaScript is not working (I’ve never noticed that before).

    For example, the drag & drop of the widgets don’t work, instead I have to click on “add”. I’ve also tried to program a widget with JavaScript which didn’t work either.

    Though when I use JavaScript on a different project but on the same local server than it works, so I’m guessing it must be WordPress specific.

    What could be the cause for this and how can I make JavaScript work with WordPress on XAMPP?
