WordPress lagging when writing a new post

    Hi,

    I have recently started having a problem when writing a new post. It is very slow and lagging for up to 20+ seconds after writing a new sentence. I have tried using different browsers, devices, caching, deactivating plugins, contacting hosting company (they said they updated php limits) but nothing seems to be helping and it’s very frustrating. i have never experienced a problem like this before. I have noticed that wordpress has updated to a new version and the problems have started since so it might be connected to this. Can anyone help fix this issue?

    Have you installed the latest version of WordPress? And are you using the block editor to enter data?

    Are there any anomalies under Tools > Site Health?

    Have you tried it in a private browser window without any add-ons in the browser?
