Lightbox is not working – not a plugin, the default lightbox that came out in recent updates of WP is not working. I run over a dozen sites, they’re all fine, one of them just has this broken lightbox feature.

I moved the site to a dev site. I first updated all plugins and versions. No help. I then took out all plugins. Nothing. Changed the theme, removed the custom theme, nothing. I think I’ve basically stripped the site down to the basic “Twenty Fourteen” theme and yet lightbox-ing is still broken. I can’t imagine what is breaking this. Any ideas on how to further troubleshoot would be helpful.

I just checked the real site and oddly the links are NOT clickable at all right now. That was not true earlier. Please give any suggestions or help if possible.
