WordPress Load Balancers Missed Scheduled Posts

  • Hi,

    We currently have 5 WordPress sites across 3 apache servers all load balanced together. Each server is connected to an NFS server so essentially they are all 3 clones of each other.

    The problem that we’re having is that since moving to this setup, we see a lot of hanging wp-cron.php scripts in server status. Related, it appears the scheduled posts miss their publish time a majority of the time.

    Has anyone come across something similar with WP and loadbalancers?
