• Since yesterday I been having these problem, contacted godaddy and they keep blaming my installation. Since, I have installed three times and same thing happens, work for five minutes and then stop working giving me this blank page.

Any have any idea on how to look into this?

    Thanks,

    Luis

  • First, deactivate all of your plugins. If the page reappears then it was one of your plugins. If not, switch to one of the default themes, if that works then it was your theme. If neither works then there was an error in uploading the files, or the permissions on some of the files are wrong.

One last thing: If WordPress was updated recently it can produce a blank page until you run the wp-admin/upgrade.php script, call do that by going to https://mywebpagename/wp-admin/upgrade.php (if you have your wordpress in a sub folder place that name between mywebpagename and wp-admin)

I disabled all plugins, even akismet. I put the default theme, and ran the upgrade which came back as no upgrade needed. And still the page comes and goes, I got a SQL error from IE6 and server drop connection from Safari for Windows.

I’m sorry to keep bothering you all with this, but any other suggestions?

I wanted to mentioned that I’m trying 3 different installs on my website. Two are WP 2.2.1 and one is 2.1.3 none of them work.

    Thanks,

    Luis

    Update:

I took wordpress install from root/install/ to /install/, and is working for now. Could that be it? Putting WP in the root is good but hiding it on a directory not? Crazy, espacially after using it like that for 8 months. I wonder is 2.2.1 has something to do with it.

hmm, looks like sideblog.php may be the problem.
