wordpress log in (and site) load blank page

    wp login: thomfoolery.ca/wp-login.php

    issue: I can’t log in to my wordpress or see the site – both load a completely blank screen.

    This began happening after I switched themes, so I’m fairly certain the theme (can’t remember which one) is to blame. I’d love to go in and change the theme but I can’t log in.

    HELP!

    Fixed the problem by going in through CPanel, opening wp-content/themes folder and changing the name of the currently active theme folder.

    Apparently doing this forces wordpress to change to the 2016 theme, which solved the issue.
