I can not log-in to my admin area (for writing/editing etc.). When I try to log-in to admin area, i get the message: 404 Not Found
    and
    Nothing found for Wp-admin
It shows a sitemap instead of admin area.
It accepts the username and password (as I can see there are 2 comments pending, 4 pdates available etc.)
Another thing I want to mention. Before the problem started I scheduled a few posts, which are going live without normally any problem.
How can I log-in to admin area without loosing any data.
My hosting provider says to install the wordpress again, can it be done without loosing any data. Can anyone help me.
    Thanks

  • Do you know what version of WordPress you were running? Can you make a quick backup of the database just in case? It sounds like you’re missing an important file or two, possibly in the wp-admin folder. If you know what version of wordpress you were using you can download a copy of it and then try uploading just the /wp-admin/ and see if that helps.

Backup the database and your theme files first.

    Jessn,

Could you please take a look at https://www.A-1Locksmith.com/blog/wp-admin and maybe tell me why my wp-admin page is no longer available? 2 days ago I was in the admin panel and I changed the site url from https://www.A-1Locksmith.com/blog/wp-admin to https://www.A-1Locksmith.com/wp-admin and instantaneously the admin panel went down. I haven’t been able to login since.

    ANY advice would be great.

    Regards,

    Jason
