I’ve seen this in a few different threads and tried the aforementioned solutions with no luck.

I’m on Dreamhost and have used git pull to get a WordPress install into the /test subdirectory. I’ve updated my options table to the correct URL as well. But now, when I try to login, I’m getting simply an emptying of the inputs and a page refresh. Whether I input a correct password or incorrect, this happens.

For what it’s worth, I’ve also got installs running at the root and /blog that work just fine. For my .htaccess contents, I simply copied the contents from /blog and changed the /blog to /test. I’m essentially just looking to get up and running on the live server so I can move /test to the document root.

I’ve cleared my cookies, cleared my cache, renamed my plugins folder, renamed my .htaccess; all to no avail.

Any ideas what else could be causing this?

Solved. In my wp_options table of my database, I needed to include the “www” in the URLs.
