You can simply download this plugin and it will help you customise the backend experience for your client further. A simple solution to what you are wanting to do, and not needed to be added to Slate at all.

Thanks so much for the plug. Both are awesome. I like ryan’s interface a little more. BUT still both are fantastic for the backend! ??
