WordPress menu counting

Hi all,

Is there a way to have WordPress give me the number of the current menu-item (using native drag-n-drop menus. For example: I create a menu containing [home] and [about]. When visiting the about-page, I’d like to get a “2” – or “1”, if counting starts at 0 (zero).
