wordpress messaging system & blog on my website …can i ?

  • hii….soon i will be launching a website …but i need messaging system and a blog for my members so that they can have a private chat through messaging system and can be able to read , write , comment on blog , which ll be viewed by all his/her friends respectively…and it should be done from my website only ..can we ??
    if yes ..then
    where the messages and blog will be save on my server or yours ?
    and how to do this ..i m newbie to wordpress so i aspect detail info abt how to achieve this …thnx 2 any1 who read this and try help me out !!

  • WordPress is already a blog, but if you’re looking for personal messaging you could try something like Cartpauj PM which is a private messaging system.

    Another thought would be a forum plugin like Simple:Press or Mingle Forum. You can create private forum boards that are only accessable to specific members.
