WordPress migration – users no long associated with blogs

user_meta table would be it. Did you snag that one?

Yes – migrated the entire DB, 1600+ tables. I see primary_blog as a meta_key with the value being an ID, but nothing that points to some series of values for a user that say has access to multiple blogs.

Mmmmm, nope. there’s a line for each blog the user has access to, with their level, listed by user ID.

What is the meta_key for that? If I can look at that as a starting point, hopefully the solution will present itself.

It goes by user_id first, then the meta_key for each blog they have access to.

So, if user 3 has access to blogs 2, 17, and 23, there will be a field for each of those with wp_X_userlevel and wp_X_capabilities.

Solution found: DB manager had trucated user_meta on import.

thanks for the support. Turned out to be the infamous “user error”
