wordpress mp3 player does not work in my post

I recently uploaded an MP3 file which I included in this post:
The Truth about “Race to the Top”
For some reason the file posts as a link. I was under the impression that wordpress would turn the link into a small mp3 media player like the one in number one of this document:
does anyone know why this link is not working or if it’s supposed to work like the example shown in the document?
