• Hi,

    I have a wordpress MU site running on “mydomain”.co.za and I have a subdomain with its own directory (demo.”mydomain”.co.za) but when I try to access my subdomain that has a Drupal installation it goes to;
    (https://”mydomain”.co.za/wp-signup.php?new=demo) with an error that says”Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /usr/www/users/topdesv/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/aioseop.class.php on line 286″

    How can I get my Drupal site to open on the subdomain? I think WordPress MU is automatically redirecting it, how can I stop this?

    Thanks

    Update: I’ve added the subdomain to the list of banned names within the WPMU Admin panel and now it redirects to “mydomain.co.za” so still not going to the subdomain….

    the wildcard subdomain reference is in the wrong order in the apache files, in relation to the drupal subdomain.

    Got your own vps or can you look at things server side? If not, time to talk to your webhost.

    I’ve been advised by my host that I can make the changes myself and followed their instructions to update the A-Records. Is that what you meant by editing the Apache files?

    I’ve added the subdomain to the A-records but it’s still not working… the changes can apparently take up to 24hrs to take effect…

    No, A records are not Apache files.

    Thanks, it’s all working now after I finally got the host to add the entry to the Apache files… Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!
