wordpress multi site languages and nav menu

I have created a web site in a multisite environment, that it’s going to be in two languages spanish and english, but i have some problems…

I’m using qtranslate, but they don’t have answers for this, I can switch between languages but the menu stays the same, some info also like “posted on” stays in english even though everything else changes to spanish.

So… here’s my dilemma, I could make one website with dual language titles (solution that so far I dislike the way it looks) or separate websites with different languages and link the “wazoo” out of it, it’s going to be a pain for the SEO, but which choices do I have?
