WordPress multisite not working properly

  • I just installed WP 3.0.1 and went through the normal process for enabling network (WPMU). It all seemed fine except it did not create the /blogs.dir directory and it uses /uploads folder for uploding files even after I have enabled network / multisite.

    The .htaccess file has the default configuration as crated by WPMU.

    Anyone got a clue to why this is happening?

    This post can be deleted as I posted my question in another post with similar problems.

    Just reiterating that the blogs.dir folder is not created by WordPress and the main site will use the regular uploads folder by default.

    So, normal behaviour.
