WordPress news site

I’m creating a news site where I have different sized news boxes. Layout has header, main content and a sidebar. Main content should have boxes what has dynamic 1-2 columns and dynamic 1-2 rows depending how big of news it is. Boxes has an image and title or just text what is clickable and goes to the post.
And this should be easy to edit because the the news editor who update stuff shouldn’t need to understand code. These boxes are highlighted and editor adds news the to boxes. The site should need to be scrobbable, but it doesn’t need to have boxes all down.

Is there a plugin who do this easily?
