WordPress Not Loading on Server Stalls out

This is a very small website with only a few pages.
I have deactivated most of the plugins except the SSL ones – Simply SSL free and pro.
The host is telling me that it’s WordPress and not their server.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Is there a plugin I would use, something to test it and see what’s causing it?
