• Hi Guys,
I’m really stuck with WP 2.8.4.
I’m having a widget ready theme and the problem occurs with other themes also. When I change options in several different widget the wordpress database doesn’t save the options.

I do can add widgets into the system and the widgets are saved, only when I change some options/settings after the widget is added isn’t saved.

Can someone help me out ?

  • Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    I just tried that..
Deactivated all plugins, still not working ??

I’m new, but upgraded to 2.8.4 right away. I have Kubrick theme activated. Added a category widget. It doesn’t show up. Neither does the sidebar. I tried another widget-ready theme, one with 3 columns. Added widgets from the page. Same thing happens: no sidebars show up; no widgets show up.

What’s the deal. Not off to a good start.

    Hi,

    1) Add this code in htaccess:

    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off

    2. From wordpress admin area -> Appearance-> Widgets under Screen options, try the Enable Accessibility Mode.

    3. Delete or refresh the browser cache.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

    Hi Shane,

Step 2 did the trick for me!

    2. From wordpress admin area -> Appearance-> Widgets under Screen options, try the Enable Accessibility Mode.

    Thanks!

    Patrick
