wordpress not sending emails out

  • Before I make any changes I want to know if there are any problems with other wordpress users as I had comment posted on my website I did not receive email of comment posted and a someone registered on my site and says that account is successful and email is sent but no emails received.

    I just tested and does the same thing.

  • It may not be WordPress… it may be the way your host server is configured. I’ve had the same problem on several hosts, and about the only way I can get around it is to install the WP SMTP Mail plugin and send emails out through my gmail account.

    My server was working fine and now stopped so I am in process of host checking it out.
