I’ve seen lots of these threads but couldn’t find a solution for me.

I backed up a live site and installed on a localhost using wamp.
I created the sql backup with a plugin named migrate DB which replaced the URL with the localhost location.
Now that everything is set and running the images are not visible.

Looking at the source shows the CORRECT full path to the image but it doesn’t show, neither will the new images i upload.

within settings -> media I added the correct path in the uploads folder and the full path too.

I think it’s something in wamp that is blocking it.
I had a previous URL problem that was being caused from a module on wamp that wasn’t checked.

I would highly appreciate any help you can give me!
    Thanks!

    no, that doesn’t help.
I read that one too ??
The issue is not the way the link is written because when i take the correct image url and paste it in the address bar i still get a 500 error.

Besides, i assume since it’s a 500 error means that it’s not a wrong url but a server issue.

I had a similar issue with the friendly post URLs earlier and I had to check -> rewrite_module on wamp and then it was fine.
I’m thinking this is a similar issue.

BTW – even plugin images that are suppose to appear on the backend are blank too.
