WordPress on IIS7 with SQL Server DB – Network site setup issues

Hello,

I have wordpress setup on IIS 7 with MS SQL Server as the backend database (this is due to environmental restrictions in my organization) on a VirualBox VM. We want to utilize the multisite functionality of WP. Hence, I enabled mutlisite and while setting up network sites I run into issues where I’m stuck now. For this I followed the instructions given in the below at the below link and any referrence give within. WordPress is installed and running fine on Port 80. However, I’m running into issues that the network site seems to be created but got an error before completing the required steps. Looking at the error log, it looks like the network setup assumes a MySQL database as it says MySQL syntax error. I’m stuck and could not proceed. Can anyone help me please
