WordPress or MySQL Locking AD Accounts

  • Starting on July 25th 2015 we started having issues with our WordPress environment. About a dozen Active Directory accounts started locking. Our WordPress environment is setup with the below versions. It’s also running on Windows Server 2003 with IIS. If I stop the MySQL or the IIS service the locking of the AD accounts stops. Has anyone seen this or know of a fix? I’m lost to what would be causing this to happen.

    WordPress – 4.2.3
    MySQL – 5.1
    PHP – 5.2.8
