www.ads-software.com password reset not working

  • I have a www.ads-software.com account that I use to support my website activities. I recently tried to log in and it is not recognizing my password (It’s been a year or so since I needed to log in). The account definitely exists because if I try to create one with that e-mail it says it already exists. When I click on the “lost password?” link I get asked for my e-mail address, which I provide (the one the account is under). Several hours and multiple attempts later I have still not received that e-mail. I created this new account (which I neither want nor will use) in order to get to the forum so I could ask the question.

    Is there a bug in the password reset function?
    How can I get back into that account without a password?

    Unfortunately none of those solutions apply since the problem is the www.ads-software.com web site (the one we are on now) and no my own installation (which works fine). I need support for a plugin but couldn’t get it because I can’t log into this site.

    There’s nothing wrong with our password reset system. Check your spam folder on your email and such. We’re sending out emails just fine, but whether you can receive them is another thing entirely.

    That’s what I was afraid of. There is no spam filtering on that account, so the mail must be going adrift somewhere along the way – out of my control at any rate. I guess I’ll just abandon that account and try with this one.

    @pastortimmbc If you’re having excessive trouble, then you can email our team that handles that sort of thing at [email protected]. Include all relevant information except for the actual password. ??

    Unfortunately, WordPress continually presents these types of errors and the only possible solution is to use the password reset link. Try continuously and if the problem persists try to contact the WordPress team directly: [email protected]
