WordPress' own slideshow hiding my dropdown menu

WordPress doesn’t have a sideshow by default, So this is either part of your theme or it’s a plugin. You need to start by identifying which it is.

Try adding z-index here:

#menu ul li {
    display: inline-block;
    padding: 22px 25px;
    position: relative;
    z-index: 20;
}

If that doesn’t work, please ask the developer of your theme for help as you are using a commercial theme – and these forums don’t support commercial products.

Does your theme have a Custom CSS option? If not, add it via a plugin such as custom CSS Manager and then add the CSS there.

Or you can lower the z-index of the slideshow so that the menu will stay in front of it.
