• How do you create a link that doesn’t exist yet, where people can click on the link to create a new page? I downloaded the BetterDocs Plugin, but it doesn’t have the option to create a link that can open a new page editor to create a new Doc within my site, like Wikipedia does. Can someone please tell me there’s some code I can implement into the functions.php file or something that will make this happen for me. So far, I cannot find anything on google that points me in the right direction.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • What you’re describing is a core functionality of wiki software, which WordPress isn’t.

The Wiki Page Links plugin does just what you’re looking for… except it hasn’t been updated in years.

The Yada Wiki plugin is actively maintained (latest version tested for WordPress 6.5.2)… but this adds full wiki functionality to a WordPress site and may be more than what you’re looking for.

And if you’re seeking to implement a full wiki site, perhaps you should consider a purpose-built wiki software. Wikipedia is powered by its own MediaWiki software… which is free and open source.
