• Hello everyone,

    I’ve been working on this wordpress website for a long long time now, but recently it stopped working. Well, it still works, but loading a single page (or homepage) takes over 3 minutes, or it doesn’t load at all (500 internal server error).

    It is concerning this site:

    I’ve got the same problem while trying to log into the admin panel.

    I’ve got a big number of posts and pages, but it all worked fine until I installed All in One SEO pack plugin.

    I’ve disabled this plugin, but still the site won’t load.

    I know I am still running an old wordpress version (3.3.1) but since it’s loading so slow, I don’t dare to update it via the wordpress panel.

    Does anyone has any clue how I can fix this? I know there are a lot of 500 error solving posts around here, but can’t find one who also sometimes loads.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • The site is not loading for me at all. I think that this is a server issue. I would contact your hosting provider and ask them what’s going on.

    Yeah, that crossed my mind too, but other sites from that hosting provider seem to work OK. (Unfortunately, their customer service is a true mess, i’ll contact them by phone i guess, since they don’t reply my mails.)

    Are there any questions I should/could ask specifically? Or just ask “hey, why is my site not loading?” (could it be that my site is over it’s data sending limit?)

    It isn’t my data limit. I’ve got a limit of 70 gigs, and i’ve used 30 MB. I’ll call the customer service as soon as possible!

    Hi Guys

    I have had the same problem on a few sites and think I found that it is the Bliss Drive Hit Counter Plugin that is slowing them down.

    I have been on to the hosting provider, deleted the domains and rebuilt them. But as soon as deactivated the plugins – bang they are flying…
