• I’ve been making a lot of posts and pages on this new site. My computer begins acting like there might be a key logger on my system. The delay between typing a letter and the time it appears on screen, and the way the cursor jerks around when you try to make corrections.

I scanned my machine for a virus. When it didn’t find one I ran bitdefender in safe mode. That still didn’t seem to remove the keylogger, so I made a backup of my entire system in prep for more thorough work on virus removal. But then the computer began acting normally again.

So, tonight I’m back typing up a pretty lengthy post and by the time I’m done my computer is acting like there is a keylogger on it again.

So, is this the wordpress editor doing this? If so, what can I do about it. It takes to long to type this way.

    Nope. ??

Something is eating CPU or IO cycles on your PC. Try running your browser without any extensions or addons enabled and then disable all plugins and switch your WordPress theme to Twenty Fourteen.

Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, re-login (with your browser in safe mode) and see if you get that slowness again. If that doesn’t fix it then there may be something goofy going on with your PC.
