WordPress pages following index.php

Hi all,
Every page I create in wordpress is displayed like this:
https://www.mysite.com/index.php/samplepage
Is this normal?
I think it would be normal/better if the pages be like this:
https://www.mysite.com/samplepage
My hosting server is windows/plesk
