• Resolved Michael v.d. Berg

I have a problem with WordPress since the latest update on version 4.7.3. I have already deactivated my plug-ins and change the theme to the default theme, but it does not resolved.

When I use the home page as the blog page (with the posts), the pagination works well. But when I got a static page and on domain.com/blog/ for the blogposts, it get a 404 error when I move to the second page (domain.com/blog/page/2/).

Does anybody know where the problem is to resolve this?

  • Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

Thanks for your reply. I set the permalinks to default and everything works fine. I am jusing the /%category%/%postname%/, but it’s the same issue. The weirdest part, it works fine in the post category but not on the blog page with all of the post.
