WordPress Password

Disable Security Plugins: If you have access to the WordPress dashboard, try temporarily disabling any security plugins to see if that resolves the issue.

I have access to the dashboard but not all elements in there. for example I can get into pages but not into plugins or users. it just takes me to the page asking for a password.

Also here is a link from someone that has this issue too https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/site-suddenly-asking-for-a-password/ now they say there was malicious code in the admin.php file but I’m not sure what to look for

how can I attach a screen shot of what happens and the source code?
