    Hi,

I’ve added the shortcode to one of my PHP file. The buttons are showing but I have trouble getting them to start the video capture process.

First of all, on desktop, it seems that it’s the mobile markup that’s activated.

When I click on the button, nothing happens. I’ve tried under chrome, firefox and even IE. If i take the code from the website after creating an account, it works. (the <camera id=’vidrack.camera’> [ etc… ] code)

However I prefer to be using the plugin since it’s easier to go change some of the markup to fit my needs.

    Can you help ?

  • The same problem, just function do_shortcode in code show only mobile template which not works.

And one more problem, plugin without changes not works on ssl sites, browsers not upload video by insecure connection

Hey so there are two products. One is our WordPress plugin which is all self contained. The other is Vidrack 1.0 which is what the code <camera id=’vidrack.camera’> is from.

If you have wordpress you can ignore that code and just use the short code that is provided by the plugin.

These are the only codes you will need if you’re using the wordpress plugin:
    Add shortcode [record_video]
Align to the right: [record_video align=”right”]
Align to the center: [record_video align=”center”]
Align to the left: [record_video align=”left”]

Once you install the plugin these short codes can be placed on any page or post IN THE TEXT AREA ONLY to create the video record button. All your videos will appear in the admin panel of your wordpress site.

If you still have problems please email me at [email protected] or call 1-800-303-7803

Also if you still have trouble place the url you have the shortcode on here?

    Hope this helps!

Could you give me a hint?

    Thank you.

Not sure why but i’m see widget on your page link to screenshot

    @melenok

Hi, i see the widget too but on my Desktop in front of the “video from the camera” i have the popup that says “Connecting…” and it never goes away.
On mobile i cannot even see the camera video.

Could you please try to record a 2 seconds or whatever video so i can confirm that it is working?

    Thanx.

P.S. i’ve tried embedding the iframe from the account of Vidtrack website and in front of the camera when i push “record” it says “cannot connect”.

So if you can connect from your computer and i cannot from mine maybe i’m behind some sort of firewall or something… This is why i need you to check if you can actually record something.

    Hello

Works perfectly on iPhone 6 just sent you a video using your mobile site

I thought that maybe being behind a firewall is the reason why i cannot connect, so i set up a local xampp instance with wordpress on my laptop but i still got the same issue, it says Connecting and that’s it…..unless the plugin tries to connect anyway on the net to function….

    please update to 4.2.3!

    please update to 4.2.3!

Hi, i upgraded it but still i have the same issue, i start to think that our company’s firewall is the problem…

Hey please try to download our most recent version and let me know if that solves the issues?

    Thanks for reporting these issues!

Hello, unfortunately it doesn’t work. It seems to have something to do with implementing Https because in our company we cannot let random ports open.

Hey haven’t gotten our https certification yet. We’re working on that right now. I will keep you posted when its live. Another option is to use our free branded video recorder landing pages available at https://vidrack.me You can see a demo page a https://vidrack.me/startupfest

Thanks for your patience as we implement this.
