wordpress popular posts widget won't display "all-time", only "daily"

Hello, I am having trouble getting the wordpress popular posts widget to display the all-time most popular on the site. No matter what I seem to do, it just keeps re-setting to daily views. I’ve tried Settings -> WPP -> All-time -> Apply and it always sets it back to 24 hours. Is there a way to do this? If not, is there a way to edit the code? If so, where do I even find the code for this widget? (sorry, still a newb.)
