Not sure what happened, did not install any new plugin and did not update anything.

I’m not able to access the ‘visual’ tab of the post editor, it just shows a blank white screen.

Upon further investigation, there’s the following errors:

    Error 522:

    /wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wpview/plugin.min.js?wp-mce-4403-20160901

However, when I access the file directly from

    /wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wpview/plugin.min.js

It loads fine. Any idea what could be the problem?

  • Hello @thehungrygeek

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    Thanks.

The last time I disabled all plugins tons of crap broke and I had to burn 10 hours fixing everything. So I’d rather not.

Here everything worked fine and suddenly this issue popped up. No new plugin or theme updates.

    Any other ideas?

Usually the 522 is a connection timeout. If you are using any ‘middle-man’ site for your website like CloudFlare or a CDN etc that might be the case here ( although I’ve never heard of it for the admin side ). And since the tag on your file is from 2016-09-01 maybe it’s a weird cache issue ?

Hi Xenos, you hit the nail on the head.

A couple of hours ago I sent a ticket in to my host to whitelist my CDN’s IP addresses.

    It’s all fixed now.

Sweet glad it was fixed! Please mark the topic as resolved as well to keep the forums nice and tidy ??
