WordPress Posts particle missing categories

    The WordPress Posts particle. When I try to use it, in the Categories box I only have the Uncategorized category available. There are five other categories that were added on that are not available. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

    Theme: Hydrogen (v5.3.6 / g5_hydrogen)
    Gantry Version 5.4.10

    I found the answer. It is not a problem with Gantry. It is a thing about WordPress and some other CMS’s that always gets me. If the category is empty is does not show up. A very frustrating characteristic. I’m not sure why it’s done that way but it has always been irritation and huge time waster for me.

    Hi,

    Yes, this is correct. Categories that are empty won’t appear on that list, however after your post I’m considering changing this behavior.

    Let’s see if anyone else will find this as an issue.
