WordPress Private Site Password Issues
-
Hi,
We recently created a WordPress site to be used as the company internal news site and blog. We installed the registered users plug-in.
This is what happening:
1. When people try to access the site this message appears: Only registered and logged in users are allowed to view this site. Please log in now. (That’s ok because that was the idea)
2. When people put their correct username and password the message still appearing.
3. Then the people go to the Lost Password Link and create a new password.
4. That new password let them access the site and they create a new password in their profile page.
5. After that everything appears to be working fine.
6. But when people log-out and try to log-in again the system says again: Only registered and logged in users are allowed to view this site. Please log in now. (But they are used the recently generated password.
7. When we use and incorrect password we get this message: ERROR: Incorrect password. Lost your password? So I’m sure that we are using the correct password. We recently changed the .htaccess file because an SSL was added to the domain. But we don’t know what could be causing this…
Your help will be very very appreciated.
