• Hi there,

A few of my blog followers have told me that WordPress won’t let them leave comments on my blog, saying they’re bots?

I’ve seen other forums say they disabled Mono Marketplace and it started working, but I don’t have a Mojo Marketplace plugin. I’ve logged in using Mojo Marketplace.

    Any ideas?

WordPress itself doesn’t block comments for being bots.

What sort of anti-spam or security plugins are you running?

    Hi James,

I have Akismet installed but it’s deactivated. Other plugins I have activated: AddToAny, Bluehost, Broken Link Checker, CommentLuv, Duplicate Post, Easy Google Fonts, Force Regenerate Thumbnails, Jetpack, Mailchimp, Updraft Plus, W3 Total Cache, WP Statistics, Yoast SEO

Ok, this may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Seventeen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
