WordPress Registration email address not correct

I’m having a slight issue here. I’m not sure if it’s my web host or my WP install.. But the issue is when a new user registers for the first time through WP, WP sends out a ‘registration email.’ The “from” email is not correct. I have defined an email through general settings, and thus far that’s the only place I’ve found to set one, but the address it’s coming from is my web host server email… example: [email protected]

With that being said, all my forms, and other scripts that send email send from the correct address leaving me quite puzzled as to why this is being stubborn. If anyone out there can offer suggestions to remedy this, it would be greatly appreciated
